Browsing, voting and downloading need no account, no e-mail address and no name. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. What it does store is listed in full below.
The visitor identifier is a random string generated in your browser. It is not derived from your device, it is not shared with anyone, and it identifies a browser rather than a person — but because it can single you out, it is still treated as personal data here.
Wherever an IP address is used — for one vote per network, for abuse limits and for counting unique visitors — it is first turned into a one-way hash with a secret key, and only the hash is stored. The address itself is never written to the database. The visitor counter reads and writes nothing in your browser.
Where offered, you may sign in with a Google account so your ratings, favourites and votes follow you across devices and count as one person rather than one network. Only then do we receive your Google account identifier, your name, your e-mail address and your profile picture link — never your contacts, mail or files. They are kept for as long as the account exists and are deleted on request, by writing to the contact address above. Signing in is never required to explore or download.
Storing your ratings, favourites and battle votes is necessary to provide the feature you asked for by clicking — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Keeping the ranking honest by preventing one browser from voting a thousand times rests on our legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f). Counting visits and downloads as daily totals, with no cookie and no stored IP address, also rests on legitimate interest — knowing which Worlds are wanted. Signing in with Google rests on the account you choose to create — Article 6(1)(b). Because nothing is stored in your browser beyond what the features you use require, no consent banner is shown; if tracking that needs consent is ever added, consent will be asked for first.
Data is not sold and not used for advertising. It is handled only by the providers needed to run the site, each acting as a processor under Article 28 GDPR: Cloudflare, Inc. serves these pages and stores the artwork (Cloudflare Pages and R2); Supabase, Inc. hosts the database and the functions that record ratings, votes and statistics; MailerLite (UAB MailerLite) sends the newsletter, only if you subscribe; Google LLC provides sign-in, only if you choose it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request. External links to YouTube and Amazon open on those companies' own sites, where their privacy policies apply, not this one.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest — Articles 15 to 21 GDPR. Write to the contact address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
You can also erase everything yourself at any moment, without asking: clearing this site's storage in your browser removes your ratings, favourites, votes and identifier immediately and permanently.
